For the recreational gymnasts the last day of training is Saturday 15th December for the break and is back on Monday 4th February 2008.
Competitive training for trampolining has a three week break from Monday 17th December to January 2nd. Please see separate letter for training times in January.
The competitive gymnasts will have their last training session of the year on Saturday 22nd December and training will be back on Monday 7th January 2008. Please see your coach for confirmation of these dates.
Enrollments for next term are being taken now, so please be sure to re-enroll your child to ensure your child’s placement for next term. We need the updated form as well please. All recreational fees must be paid by 15th December 2007, to guarantee your place so we can ensure we have enough coaches for the classes. There will be no discounts after this date. Also we reserve the right to fill your place if we have not had payment.
Please remember to pay your monthly fees even if you are not here. They are worked out with 6 weeks holiday but payments are spread evenly over the year.
From next term all competitors will have to buy their own chalk. Please see James as he is in charge of this. We hope to minimize waste. Most other clubs do this now. Please contact us if you child is unable to make a session.
State Championships Well done to all gymnasts who competed at states, the best results we have ever had, both in gymnastics (32 state champions) and trampolining (15 state champions). High Flyers were the 3rd Overall state club, behind Northern Districts and the winner Star-mites. State all round champions were: Dan Ingham, Alex D’Cruz, Thomas Colgan, Jay Hughes and Blaz Puljic, Hannah Payne extra congratulations to them. Welcome to all new competitive gymnasts and we hope you are enjoying your training. Good luck to op spec gymnasts who have their state championships at the end of November.

National Club Trampoline Championships. Well done to all 30 trampolinist and tumblers who competed in Adelaide in September. The club came 4th best club in all disciplines, in trampolining we were =5th, tumbling and double mini 3rd. We are Level 4 national champions at all disciplines. We picked up 3 gold medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze, well done to all. Good luck to all trampolinist in High Flyers Club Championships on Sunday 9th December. Please see separate leaflet for more details. Holiday program We are running a sporting holiday programme at High Flyers from Wednesday 2nd Jan to Wednesday 30th Jan 2008. Full day 9-4pm. $30, 1/2 day 9-12.30 or 12.30-4pm. $20. Booking is essential as limited places. Booking forms at High Flyers Gym. Age 5-12 years. Please see separate leaflet for more details. Staff If you wish to help out with coaching or judging we are always looking for new talent. Please come along and see either James, Tony or Emma.
Tracksuits.
These can be ordered at any time. Please could you ensure we have up to date details on your child. We require this for all gymnasts. Please collect your children on time or remind them to wait inside as we cannot be responsible for them when they are outside.
We are hoping to run a senior first aid course at high Flyers on a Sunday, early next year. If you would like to go on this day’s course please let Emma know. It is mainly for staff but we are willing to let parents attend.

If you wish to order a tracksuit for this year please see reception for a form. We need a minimum of 20 before we can put an order in. All competitors will need one. Pants are around $40 each and jackets around $75. Also we have shirts to wear generally, these are $30 each or an extra $5 for your name on the back, again see reception.
