Trampoline Autumn Challenge – Sat / Sun 21st and 22nd of March 2015
The Trampoline Autumn Challenge is the second Qualifying event for athletes wishing to trial for the WA State Team, to compete at the Australian Championships being held in Melbourne at the end of May. It is also the first chance for Levels stream athletes to compete in 2015, and try to qualify for the State Levels Championships in September.
High Flyers sent a team of 44 athletes to compete at the 2015 Trampoline Autumn Challenge.
In the National and International stream side to the competition, our athletes had another fantastic weekend with an additional 6 athletes hitting qualifying scores! This takes our total to 23 athletes eligible to be selected to represent WA and compete in close to 50 events at the 2015 Australian Championships at the end of May in Melbourne !
There is 1 more trial event for this, QC2, being held on Sunday 29th of March. Good luck to anyone still trying to hit a qualifying score.
In the Levels side of the 2015 Autumn Challenge, High Flyers entered 24 athletes. All competed fantastically and managed to hit 23 event qualifying scores for the 2015 State levels Championships in September.
Overall at the Autumn Challenge, High Flyers athletes managed to take home 46% of all available medals ! This is a fantastic achievement to all involved !
